What are Time Crystals?

Time Crystals are a valuable new resource in Gardens of Time. They can be used to play scenes, as well as build and upgrade buildings from the Time Crystal Chapter.

What is the Mega Time Crystal Chapter?

A Time Crystal Chapter is a special chapter that is only available for a limited time! In addition to the new scenes, the chapter also features many exclusive garden items that can be earned, built, and upgraded over the course of the chapter!

We are giving everyone enough crystals to unlock the chapter. In order to earn all of the garden items, you must complete all of the Time Crystal quests. But act quickly; when the chapter expires, your progress will be frozen in time, and you will only be able to keep what you’ve unlocked at that point.

***The Mega Time Crystal Chapter***

Unlike normal chapters that have three scenes, the Mega Time Crystal Chapter features a total of 12 scenes, which are divided into smaller episodes to help you through the chapter.  You must complete all the quests from the first episode in order to continue to the next episode of the Mega Time Crystal Chapter, just like you need to finish Chapter 1 to be continued to Chapter 2 and on. If you do not finish, everything is frozen in Time, and you will not be able to continue. But don't worry; we are giving you plenty of time!

Level Requirement

You have be at level 5 and above and have finished Chapter 1 quests to unlock the Time Crystal Chapter. 

Inner Circle Exclusivity

Current Inner Circle members have exclusive access to a Mega Time Crystal Chapter Sneak Peek for the first 24 hours of the event. The chapter will be available to everyone after the exclusive preview has ended. 

If you were subscribed to the Inner Circle but unsubscribed before the Chapter was released, you can re-subscribe again to gain your early access. Please note that you will not be charged again until your next billing cycle. 

How do I get Time Crystals?

• If you have less than 20 Crystals, we will bring your total up to 20 to get you started. Example: You had 7 Crystals prior to this chapter starting, we will add 13 crystals to bring your total up to 20.
•  If you had 20 or more, you will not receive additional crystals. (This is working as intended - additional crystals will not be given out)
• You can purchase more Time Crystals with Gold.
• You can earn Time Crystals by playing scenes (They drop randomly while playing any of the scenes, premium, time crystal, and regular scenes.)
• You can post Time Crystals requests on your Timeline 
• You can also send out 1-1 request to request crystals from your friends
• Limits: There is a limit on how many Time Crystals you could receive per a 24 hour period, and a limit to the total maximum number of crystals you can receive from playing scenes or from friends. Please note that this limit is much higher than the amount required to complete the quests for this event.

Expiration

When does the Mega Time Crystal Chapter expire?

Part I of the Mega Time Crystal Chapter will expire on 02 May 2012. Part II will expire on 23 May 2012.

What happens if I cannot finish before the episode expires?

Once the the episode expires, your progress will be frozen in time. You will have everything you've earned (rewarded items and scenes). However, you will not be able to continue in the Mega Time Crystal Chapter. So make sure you finish the episodes in time.

What happens to my leftover Time Crystals?

You get to keep all of your Time Crystals. They can be used to play Time Crystal Chapter scenes you’ve unlocked and to build and upgrade Time Crystal Buildings that you’ve earned. However, once the Chapter is over, the only way to acquire additional Time Crystals is by purchasing them.

What happens to my buildings?

You will get to keep all of garden items you’ve earned. Even after the Chapter expires, you can build and upgrade your buildings using Time Crystals.

What happens to the scenes that I’ve unlocked?

You will still be able to play unlocked Time Crystal scenes for 1 Time Crystal and 10 Energy per play.  

What happens to scenes I haven’t unlocked, quests I haven't completed, and garden items I haven’t earned?

Unfortunately, you’ve missed out. You will not have another chance to acquire these exclusive garden items and scenes once the Time Crystal Chapter has expired.
